Whoopie ! :d Check out GFXedit.com.
I was planning to move GFXedit.com to Wordpress from Joomla, It all went fine :). All URLS (permalinks) working as fine and thanks to that I don’t have to bother about the incoming links to the themes.

Wordpress is super cool .

I feel GFXedit.com is not optimized well enough for many factors, loading time, statistics, and the User interface. I am thinking of moving it to wordpress.
The main reasons being ,

• GFXedit.com, is a website for Wordpress themes.
• Wordpress makes a much cleaner interface, and I sort of hate tables now.
• I have more experience with wordpress than joomla.
• The moving should go fine, as there aint much themes and with wordpress easy permalinks functions making the URL’s like existing joomla one’s won’t be a hard deal.
• I still couldn’t find a good statistics software for joomla, like the BAstats for wordpress.
• Countless Wordpess plugins and options.
• I couldn’t find a possible reason why I should not move

What do you all think ?

Aadaab…. I along with some of my friends started ” Shayari ” blog, The idea is to attract writers, who are good in shayari. I am planning to buy a different domain, maybe a Indian one (.in) for it, but that depends on the current usage n visitors. So if you ppl like shayari, come over. And if you are a great shayar, just contact me.

Alright now, I hope all of you know of my forums, Now I’m going to bring some major changes to it hoping that would come out real good.

Plans :

• Revenue Sharing: I got this idea from namepros where, the ads shown on the post are of the users. That is the members (if they wish) can add their google adsense customer ID in the “user options1.” Now when the page is loaded, it shows up random ads of the users and mine.
• Offers : I’m going to start few good offers like , Hosting and domains or if possible something better, for the members with highest refferals of new members or High posts / quality posts/ Moderation etc.

I’m very sure about the success of the revenue sharing program , but the thing I’m worried about is new users are rather impatient and can go clicky on the Ads, which Google doesn’t not like that much. First of all Ill need a permission from Google itself.
