Paypal now supports Indian Bank Account : Good for me
A good news came in my mail from the great “Paypal” after a long time that Paypal now supports Indian Bank accounts. Now, I was not happy with Paypal for some reasons, like me loosing money to someone ’cause I did not have the ‘Tracking code’ of the service I did and Paypal charging 1 USD less that what the actual market price is (Having tough time already). But I think this good news is nice enough to forget that. I had immediately added my HDFC bank’s account details and within 2 days, I had the money in my account for nil transfer fee
. I wish they had this offer sometime sooner, I could have saved few thousands. Anyway, “Better late than never” !
There is no charge to withdrawal amounts over INR 7000 but a small INR 500 for the withdrawals below 7K.

Projectw.org Gone, No more ! - RIP
I’ve decided to close ProjectW down since I don’t have time to run it anymore. It was fun to do 3 years but now the time has come to shut it down. Big thanks to all posters, donators, VIPs and most of all mods and admins. Good luck in the future, GRIZZLY
Yesterday I got a shocking news, a view at projectw.org . Its no more, its gone !
. Message was there by Grizzly thanking the members and mods, yesterday. Right now its parked for Sale and sedo. Its said that server required a lot of time, money and of course security.
NOTE : I am getting lot of spam stating “I am new projectw”. Please refrain from posting any links, I guess naming it would be enough.
Its Back !! ![]()
Microsoft Suraface : The Cool Tablet … “Table” Touchscreen PC
Now, who said microsoft don’t have cool stuffs? The Microsoft tablet Surface is a 30 inch screen that is mounted in a table. It uses a similiar touch interface as the iPhone does, but on a larger scale. It can also interact with objects that are tagged using RFID tags, displaying information about the object.

Rumored to cost $10,000 and at the moment is aimed at commercial uses. Microsoft is scheduling a road show of sorts so you can get your hands on one and give it a whirl. (I can buy a Hatchback with that money !)
Many Blog hosts including blogspot banned in India
Freedom of speech, I think blogging falls under that category. But I don’t think Indian Gov. takes it that way. Many blog hosts, most of them free ones including Blogspot, Typepad and Geocities are banned in India.
NyTimes reports,
For reasons yet unexplained by the authorities, the Indian government has apparently directed local Internet service providers to block access to a handful of outlets that host blogs, including the popular blogspot.com. Indian bloggers have reacted with anger and confusion, accusing the government of censorship and demanding to know why their sites have been jammed.
Officials at the Ministry of Communications in India did not return repeated calls, according to the Times report. An official at the ministry’s department of information and technology, Gulshan Rai, told the Times he was aware of ‘two pages’ that had been blocked for spreading what he called ‘antinational sentiments,’ but was unable to provide details.
But Deep says DOT had sent a 22 page list of ‘to be blocked’ sites to ISPs and some of the lazy ass ISPs blocked the whole domains instead of spending time and blocking each and every sub domain mentioned in the list.
