From the last 2 months I am suffering from laziness and its increasing every day. I watch atleast 2 movies a day, most of my time on PC goes to GTA SA or NFS Most wanted . I don’t know what has got into me, its like some lazy bug bit me. Few things to note :

- I used reply each and every mail, be it support or from friends but right now I have 46 unreplied mails . Though I haven’t taken any projects lately, the theme support mails are piling up in my mailbox.

- My cousin who works for a nobel cause, an non-profit NGO had asked me to redesign their website which I agreed hapily but its been over a month since she last asked me the progress and I still haven’t replied to her .

- My Good friend Praveen had agreed to help me with my forum which is down from last six months, even the license is about expire. But I haven’t even a single problem the website has, why say more ? I haven’t uploaded 20% of the script files yet !

- The best example, My another friend Vinay had asked me to make a simple wordpress theme for him around 8 months ago and I have only completed the header.

Hmm ! Perhaps I should have done some pending work instead of posting this :/ .

But…

Well I drove 550 KM from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram and here I am , I will be here till 24′th and will return home on 31st of this month.

Once again Google saves the day, yesterday I had lost my monthly adsense check. The support answered within 6 hours here you go.

Within about 15 days, your earnings will be credited back into your account and you’ll see a ‘Check stopped - earnings credited back’ line appear on your Payment History page. If this line appears before the 15th of the month, your earnings will be included in that month’s payment cycle. If it appears after the 15th, your earnings will be included in next month’s payment cycle.

There are many other examples of the great service, like getting websites listed in search engines and removing the ban from a domain. Google truly Rocks !

I was so happy yesterday that a check issued by Google Adsense had reached me in mere five days, now thats pretty quick delivery . As I had no classes today I thought of complete relax program (sleeping that is ) , so there I was sleeping .. now at 10 in the morning the power went off. I had actually slept a lot so why not go for drive and finish up some pending work ? I took my Google check and went to the nearest mall where HDFC bank to deposit it. Now somehow I could not deposit it and thought would do it later.
When I come back 3 stupid guys have placed their bikes beside my car, one on driver side and other two at the back. I kept the check on the car’s roof (BIG mistake) and started moving the bikes with the help of the watchman the moving took around half n hour as there were vehicles coming out. I moved the bikes, but the damn stupid fool ME forgot everything about the envelope I kept on top of the car ! I drove off and was doing my other works when after an hour I realized this loss. :/ I went back and checked almost whole parking lot, asked most of the guys present there but .. .

Now,

• I don’t have the check or envelope.
• I don’t have the number to block it via citibank .
• I know the exact amount.

I asked citibank people for this and was told to contact google and block the check. I have mailed them, now lets see.

Any other suggestions are appreciated

I am thinking of buying a lappy. Right now I only have 2 choices so I would like some suggestions from you Geeks . I am looking into Dell Inspironâ„¢ 6400 and HP Pavilion dv5100 series . Nemi suggested me to go for Dell 6400 as it can be upgraded anytime into a much powerfull system but I have a strong reason to go for soura’s suggestion, HP dv5100 as it has almost everything that I need for a much cheaper price. But still,you never know what might come into your hands .

My Budget is 75,000 INR (1704 USD) and I need the usual things with good battery life. WiFi, DVD-RW, Bluetooth….. I dont mind if its a bit bulky as I dont roam that much. A link to the suggestion would be appreciated .

After much thought on whether to buy this or a Vaio later, I went with Sony HandyCam especially because I am expecting a drive to TVM later this week with my family.

This piece offers amazing features for its price. the cost of this is around $371 (16,900 INR) but it costed me a 2000 INR more for VAT . The funny part is the battery costs 3k which stands for 1.5 hours on LCD display or about 2 hours on viewfinder. The battery can be upgraded to 7 hours which will cost around 9k . I suppose this is the costliest part on this cam :rolleyes: . Apart from the usuall Digi cam features it works as a Webcam and allows USB Streaming of video’s . Though the software they gave is really odd.
