Buying the hell out of online shopping

Go to a Mall, enter a shop and seeing all those lovely gadgets together you are so tempted to buy all of em that you at least get something your pocket can afford. I used to do all that. But then eBay came along, but till a year ago it wasn’t a great deal all together, especially after I bought a screwdriver set for 350/- and saw the same on Chennai street for 99/- a month later. And there was one time when I bought a 80GB HDD and the courier came with a empty casing. Although I did get the refund from eBay 9 months later, I still had a doubt when clicking the “Pay” button.

But things have changed now. eBay has gotten much, much better. And now, there many more players who sell stuff at much cheaper price. Yes, I’m referring to Flipkart . I love it, I simply adore their quick delivery and great customer service. Although they only sell Books, Music, Movies and Mobiles right now, I believe they offer the best price. No kidding, you get a 320Rs book delivered to your doorstep for 270/- altogether, via the best courier service available in India ! And mobile phones they sell are Rs 500-2000/- cheaper than the market price in most cases.

Myntra Its not just eBay and Flipkart that I’m addicted to, there are these wonderful people at Myntra & Pringoo who can put up the pics you upload on all kinds of stuffs.

To sum it up, you will get a better deal online most of the times and it has become much more trustworthy too. I bought my DSLR via eBay and was quickly delivered without any trouble. Just check that the seller ratings on eBay are good.

Also, there is “Khojguru” to give you some pretty decent deal.

Few sites I can recommended for shopping in India
Everything : eBay, Futurebazaar
