Anger overload
How many times did you shout or curse someone today ? It’s weird that we get unnecessarily angry even though even know that it makes our character look bad. I saw this program today on NDTV(profit) about how we all get angry and have a aggressive attitude. Now, the interesting part is 90% of what they said is exactly related to things I do
.
Anger is a natural human emotion. The problem is not anger, the problem is the mismanagement of anger. Mismanaged anger and rage is the major cause of conflict in our personal and professional relationships. Domestic abuse, road rage, workplace violence, divorce, and addiction are just a few examples of what happens when anger is mismanaged.
In one part of the show, they showed how people get angry behind the wheels, (now this is what I said is related to me). Many of you might know that I love driving. Now, there is an unnecessary urge in me (perhaps many of you) of getting ahead of the vehicle ahead of you.
Now in my case its a bit different, my overtaking depends on the vehicle ahead of me, their make and the power under the hood
(I know its silly
). Here are few questions that you can ask yourself to see whether you get angry unnecessarily behind the wheels.
- Do you always want of get ahead of the vehicle ahead of you ?
- Do you shout at vehicles who keep you slow ? (rickshaws, auto etc.)
- Are you the one who blows the horn maximum on the road ?
- Do you get exhausted on reaching your work/destination ?
Well, anger topics does not end here but I guess you I should stop now
. There are a lot of articles available over the net on Anger Management . Have a read , it might make your life better ! ![]()

Hi, I was just browsing through here reading about your Dark Pad theme, but this was an interesting post. I find myself agreeing… I’ve personally always tried to follow what Aristotle wrote in Nicomachean Ethics:
“Any one can get angry- that is easy- or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for every one, nor is it easy.”
Cheers,
