Never change your email ID at Digital Point Forums

This if for webmaster/developers/domainers and everyone who are into “Web” creation generally. You might have heard of the very popular forum “Digital Point Forums”, which I think is best for selling & buying services. You get to learn a lot, the thing I liked most about it was that, it was more like an “open source” forum. Even though I was not using their revenue sharing program (where you can put your own ads on Digital Point), I appreciated the motive. Also, you get a new thread every now and then, so you are never bored.

Now recently I changed my email address (@yahoo one) registered with them and changed it (to @gmail one) . After that I instantly received a mail to activate my new mail ID, which of course I did “Instantly” ;) . After activating I got a message that “I am in a moderation que
And now I can’t access my PM (message box) at Digital Point or post in any thread. My Profile don’t show up.
Whenever I visit these pages I get a message that “You must confirm your email address before you can use …..“.

I used the “Contact Us” form in the forum footer thrice but no reply. I tried contacting the mods but ..
- I don’t know who the moderators are
- I can’t use your PM to send them message.

Now it clearly states in Digital Point Rules that one should have only one ID, I understand why. But what do I do to contact a mod or admin there ? I waited and ultimately ended up creating a ID just to post this thread, which states my position. Now, I did not get any response from the admin or mods in the thread but I did receive 6 messages from members 5 out of which said that creating this new ID will get me banned. WT* ! Well yes this one guy tried to help me out but I tried changing my email ID back at his suggestion but nothing.

So….

If you have an ID at Digital Point forums then try not to change your email ID. There is no easy way out. :|

Edit: Today, August 14`th, after one month and 2 days, my ID got activated .

    i am also regged at DP, but i never had such problems . i think you must contact Shawn(the admin) or any mod , they can help u in mins. it might be some minor glitch only
