Nikon D40/80, Hmm
Yesterday I went for my exam at kannur and I happened to meet my friend, Sandeep who is working as a freelancer for the “Madhyamam” newspaper. Now, he showed me his new Nikon D40 dSLR camera and of course its cool features .. you guessed it, I fell for it ! 
As soon as I got home, I started googling for the d40 and came to know about D80 which is a better package, but for professionals. The Cnet guide to SLR cam, suggests D40x as its a very nice first dSLR. The cheapest price I found was on ebay at 26k INR . So, if anyone got a good deal for me, buzz me

I’m not a professional photographer, but I’ve got a D40 and have found it to be a great camera so far. There’s a learning curve on the user interface, but once you’re over it its great.
Can’t really go wrong with either the 40 or the 80!
