Two Wordpress blogs got hacked
Well, yesterday two of my blogs got hacked by some %#@ f%$#%$#@ , There was a security update for wordpress a week ago and I could not update it sooner. My blogs Autopundit.com and xcuze.com got cracked. I had not taken any backup as both were fresh, autopundit.com a month old and the 2 day old xcuze.
So all new kids out there, Backup your database every week, in fact after every post and if you are on wordpress 2.1 right now, then consider upgrading to 2.1.1 . I guess I should subscribe to their latest news email alert now.
Wordpress is following the same path of any popular software, like Firefox,
They create a nice software, It gets popular, then they release an update every few weeks. 
Update : They released 2.1.2

hey sree, can u upgrade the wordpress blog ya, it was automatically upgraded to 2.1 i guess(or did u do it?? :-S ). And how do we check, whether it is 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 version???

You can check it from your admin panel footer. Yes I do upgrade your blog when it is available at cPanel.
