I’ve been an Apple fan boy from last three years (or so they say) since I bought my macbook pro.  I could argue for hours with anyone who says macs are not worth it or it’s not user-friendly. I’ve been loyal to the bitten fruit company. Though, deep inside, I knew that they were overpriced really high, and with the taxes in India ? It was 20k Rs more for the cheapest macbook in India ! But the quality of the product, the beauty made it worth it. Now, I don’t want to talk about macbook here.

For years Apple have been creating hype before launching a product, and needless to say many people were excited about it. Afterall they do ‘innovate’. And I used to like all the hype in all those blog posts and news and magazines, even ‘Indian’ media were covering this.

But ‘iPad‘, seriously ? That’s the best you could do ? It’s an iPod Touch with bigger screen! Whats innovative in it ?  I expected something to compete against a decent netbook in the market. Or better yet, a netbook with functionality of phone. Or Something we could use on a public transport and then when at home, plug it in to a monitor and input devices to use it as a normal desktop.

I think it is just a tool which bookworms might like, a bit more expensive alternative to the Kindle.

And to think that I waited for these many days, spent hours reading about the speculations, going through the stupid articles for this ?

I might get over it and start to like it in future, but now ? No. Nope. :/
